We used to wear the cutest earrings in our line dance class. They were miniature cowboy hats. One of the girls made them and gave everyone a pair. You could do something similar, it is not difficult to make earrings, simply by visiting a craft store and getting the necessary finds. But be careful! You may be hooked on making your own jewelry.
Boot bracelets are another thing you can make from supplies from a craft store. Simply string sparkly, multi-colored beads onto a wire and attach a secure clasp (like the ones used for anklets) on the ends and voila, you have a nice and personal gift for someone. I’ve also seen beautiful Southwest beaded boot bracelets online. And remember, you only need to give one because you only wear the boot bracelet on one of your boots. Of course, you can give your favorite line dancer several to match her different line dance clothes.
An inexpensive tote bag is good as opposed to lugging your boots into a plastic bag from the grocery store. Remember, online dance boots are lighter and the sole is softer for dancing, so don’t wear them outdoors.
Many classes, like the ones we take in Hawaii, hand out line dance step sheets when new line dance instructions are taught. One of those document briefcases, the kind that maybe has a notebook on one side with a pen on top, and on the other side has a pocket for loose documents, it would be nice if someone kept their dance step sheets in line and also take notes on various things. It would fit very well inside the tote bag!
This is the perfect time of year to dance online. The weather is cooler and normal outdoor activities like gardening and jogging are basically on hold until spring. But, it is still necessary to maintain some form of physical exercise and line dancing fills the bill admirably. Just two or three line dancing sessions a week will bring you many health benefits.
Online dance instructions are also great for improving your IQ (or keeping what you have!). Yes, it really is! Not if you follow everyone else without thinking, but if you focus on what you are doing and learn new line dances frequently, it will help you a lot. But you have to put your mind to it for this technique to work.
