This is a great party trick and it will really make people believe that you have extraordinary powers.
How the trick appears to the public
The Magician is dressed in a jacket with a shirt and tie. She asks someone to tie her wrists as tightly as possible with a roll of duct tape or parcel tape. There is no doubt that his hands are so tightly tied that he will have to be released. The Magician tells the audience that he will demonstrate how to pass one solid object through another. The magician then walks into another room for a minute. When he returns to the room, he is still wearing his jacket and tie, but he has removed his shirt! His hands are still tightly tied and no one has a clue how he did it!
How to do the trick
This trick seems impossible, but it is actually quite simple. To prepare for the trick, he takes off his shirt and then puts it back over his shoulders like a cape. Without tucking your arms into the sleeves, button the collar and the top three or four buttons. Then again without putting your arms on the sleeves, fasten the cuffs around your wrists. Put on your tie as usual and then your jacket. If you have done it correctly, it will appear that you are wearing your clothes normally and no one will suspect a thing.
Performance
When you’re ready to perform the trick, have someone hold your wrists down with duct tape or packing tape. Make sure they get it right, so everyone can see that it will be impossible for you to take your hands off when being cut.
When they have tied your wrists, tell them that you are going to demonstrate how to defy the laws of physics and pass one solid object through another.
You tell them that you are going to leave the door for a moment and when you knock on the door, they should open the door and let you in.
When in the other room, use your fingers to undo the buttons on the collar. Then loosen your tie and slide it over the top of your head; however, do not untie it. Unbutton the rest of the buttons on your shirt and undo the buttons on the cuffs with your teeth. This sounds difficult, but it is actually quite easy to do.
Grab the collar of your shirt at the back of your neck and pull up. You will find that you can take the shirt out of your jacket. Put your tie back on and tighten it. Put the shirt over your arm and knock on the door.
When they open the door, your audience will be shocked to see that you’ve managed to slip your shirt through your tie and jacket.
This trick is so unusual and so strange that people will remember it for many years.
