It is an essential part of life to always be honest. This is because it leads to a brighter future. One that is celebrated with open arms with friendships that endure. It may be true that many times we are not treated very sincerely. It can be rare to find many truly sincere people around. But all is not lost if we start from within ourselves. Practice honesty and we will reap the rewards in the long run. Here is a simple list to identify an act based on sincerity.

Not rushed but prolonged/patient
We are often driven by set goals and objectives. Therefore, in order to fulfill them, we may be tempted to force our way in a hasty attempt. For example, we lose patience waiting for long approvals. As a result, we end up taking shortcuts or using bribes. But what we got before, we risk losing at the same time. This may be due to inappropriate placements based on real justifications and/or preventively necessary requirements. An act of sincerity always has to be true. In fact, anything that carries your truth will be durable enough to have the patience to get started. Therefore, always allow a considerable amount of time for all our future undertakings. Sincerity is an underlying principle for achieving happiness in life.

Gentle and kind outlook
Sincerity brings with it its sweetness and kindness. He doesn’t brag and he’s not rude. Imagine a restaurant staff that is smiling and attentive to our needs versus one that is hostile and cares less about customers. Imagine a mother who is always attentive to her child’s needs, even before those needs are expressed. An act of sincerity springs from the heart and would always be true, kind, and above all, would endure hardship.

Correct, thoughtful and responsible attempts
Sincerity is deeply embedded in the roots of noble characters. It promotes deep thoughts based on what is right and actions based on responsible measures. A correct action may not be so easily identifiable at all times, so it is necessary to use honest feelings and act on the basis of modesty. Sometimes contributing way beyond the limits can turn into inappropriate actions that would break relationships. Being right, being considerate of the needs or concerns of others in order to act responsibly; these form the essential core elements that bring about sincerity. An overdrive is not necessarily the same as being candid.

not afraid of being wrong
Sincerity is not afraid of mistakes. Mistakes are, in fact, an inevitable composition of life. Ultimately, we would be lying to ourselves if we don’t admit or submit to them. The moment we submit to our mistakes, we are taking one more step toward correction that can better lead us to a brighter future through genuine force. We advance only when we are able to realize and absorb those mistakes so that we can endure and overcome them eventually. It compensates for a better but sincere life that strengthens our relationships with others.

Open, Warm, Cheerful and Forgiving
An act of sincerity does not cling to selfish efforts or personal gain. It is simply about being open, warm, joyful, and most importantly, forgiving. I would not be angry, vindictive or preserve hatred, as these would clearly destroy what a clear conscience represents. Therefore, being honest can help build objectivity which, in turn, leads us to achieve what we really need in life; love or whatever suits you.
