Is your car the gayest? Wheels24, a South African website, spent three weeks conducting a survey for the title “Alternative Car of the Year.” After a furious online vote, Wheels24 unveiled the 3 new car models that most wowed the car crowd. From there, the most cheerful and straight cars were named.
At the finish line is the lively Peugeot 207, which was named the “happiest car”. Next to it is the muscular Audi RS4, which was labeled the “straightest car.” Alfa Romeo Brera was also awarded the title of “rear of the year”.
The cars chosen for the three categories were all released this year. Since the campaign was an instant success, Wheels24 decided to make it an annual event. Visitors to said website can vote for their favorite newly released cars to make them one of the most popular in the auto industry.
The Alternative Car of the Year campaign was carried out in cooperation with Road Angel Navigator, the leading global positioning system for vehicles (GPS). This campaign has registered more than 16,000 votes.
In the most cheerful car title, Peugeot 207 obtained 7,155 votes, BMW 3 Series Coupé with 3,378 votes, Jaguar XK with 2,571, Honda Civic Hatch 1776 and Alfa Romeo 159 with 1,293 votes. These cars are designed to capture the fetishes of car owners who wanted nothing less than flashy, sleek and stylish cars that deserve everyone’s attention. Gay cars are curvy and unusual. This is the reason why they are loved by art fans.
In the straightest car title, Audi RS4 got 9,824 votes, next is Toyota Fortuner with 2,629, Dodge Caliber got 1808 votes, Volkswagen Jetta with 979 and Lexus IS250 with 936. These cars are bulky and muscular. They don’t have such well-shaped curves, but they sure have strength and performance. Audi, Toyota, and Dodge auto parts exude cutting-edge quality combined with toughness.
Alfa Brera was named “rear of the year” with 6,608 votes. Next to him, in the sexiest rear category were BMW Z4 Coupe with 5722 votes, Opel Astra GTC 2270, Renault Clio with 1071 and Nissan Tiida with 505. The rear of the mentioned cars are catchy and impressive like the rear of some Kits of Saturn car body.
