Celtics-Lakers in trouble?

Don’t prepare for the Lakers-Celtics finals just yet. On Monday night in Boston, the Black Irish couldn’t send Superman and the Orlando Magic out fishing just yet, as Rajon Rondo was finally outclassed at point guard by his counterpart Jameer Nelson. The Celtics’ Big 3 along with Dwight Howard, Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis are the Magic’s version of the “Big 3,” but the key to this series begins and ends with the Nelson vs. Battle of Rondo. Paul Pierce missed two 3-pointers with a minute to go, but the bigger question is why Ray Allen didn’t make that final shot. If the Magic win a pivotal Game 5 tomorrow, expect this series to go the distance.

The Lakers took the Suns lightly and are now tied 2-2 against Phoenix. The combination of Stoudamire and Nash was fine, but the Suns’ bench was the deciding factor tonight. Kobe Bryant is probably giving his teammates a good beating, since he was the only offensive force for the defending champs. Phil Jackson’s team is only .500 on the road but is excellent when he plays at Staples Center.

Tonight, the Magic return home hoping to clinch a win and send the game back to Boston for Game 6. In order for Orlando to win, Vince Carter needs to flashback back to the UNC-version of himself. Toronto Raptors and play extremely aggressive straight off the wing. -off.

I’m still predicting a Celtics-Lakers final, but it’s taking a little longer.
