Our animal companions are living, breathing counterparts who have similar problems to humans with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual ailments and problems. Many people care about their animals just as much as their own family, children, or loved ones because they are our loved ones! I have four canines to date and love them as much as I love my own human children as they are my canine children! So why don’t we treat them in the same aspect and provide them with healing services as well?

Animals are fun to work with, but sometimes they can be hard to understand. The communication gap when working with animals is the hardest part to overcome when working with alternative healing. Veterinarians have been going to school for many years learning to work on their physical problems and they know all the ins and outs of animals. I take my own dogs to a local vet, but also provide alternative therapy with energy work, vibrational healing, massage, and animal remedies. These are a great way to test the animal as a whole rather than just the food we see.

Energy work, such as Reiki and other forms, can be used to provide the animal with an energy boost, a healing session, relaxation and tranquility. Vibrational healing can be done with crystals, instruments like drums, singing bowls, and many others as a way to heal ailments and issues related to behavioral issues. Massage can be incorporated into alternative work with animals, and they love to combine it with an energy session to amplify all the results they are getting. Animal remedies can be those alternative forms of flower remedies or even water charged with crystal healing properties or energetically charged forms. All of these provide a more balanced performance for your animal companion in addition to your regular vet appointments. So remember to treat them with as much love as they show you on a daily basis.
