Its size means that the atmosphere is languid and peaceful, the service friendly and unobtrusive, and the food excellent.
Further west, you will discover Riverside Cyprus. Less than a mile from the coast, this is a great place for families, and while it’s large, it never seems like it, as accommodation is in bungalows, spread out among eight acres of densely planted gardens. An absolute delight throughout the year, the aromas of jasmine and the sight of masses of bougainvillea surprise in every corner. Not to mention the variety of restaurants and the three pools!
Really though, this is just a scratch off the surface. There are numerous hotels in and around Kyrenia, each totally unique and each offering something different. It’s hard to imagine a place with a wider variety of places to stay and you are sure to find something to suit your tastes. And speaking of taste, no description of Kyrenia would be complete without mentioning the cuisine. From a humble kebab stand to a five-star upscale restaurant, the one thing that all eating places in and around Kyrenia share is a love of good food.
