Power Groups – Succeed faster!

Through the power of your mind you have the keys to success. Every person who has been successful was first in his mind and in the thoughts that he had. They studied and learned what it took, but they also learned that ANY true success requires others and their minds as well.

Power Groups are known as many things, board of directors, intellectual group, Senate, House of Representatives, or any other collection of people you can think of. Together you can achieve much more than any one person can.

Just because there is a group does not necessarily mean it will be successful, each group should have a primary purpose and goals to focus their efforts. When the group splits and differs in their goals, it’s time to replace members or rethink their goals.

Group power also requires members of diverse backgrounds and backgrounds who can get along. If all members think the same and have the same knowledge, then there is no veracity in the information available.

Diversity and cooperation are the key components in forming a Power Group. All members must share a common goal or purpose, although each can and should have their own goals and objectives as well. The purpose of the group is for EVERY member to achieve the group goal and personal goals.

At each meeting you should first discuss the main objective, the current status, what has changed since the last meeting, any gains or losses, corrections that need to be made and brainstorming; each member should then present any challenges they have with their own goals and the suggestions made by the other members about what can be done to help achieve the goal. If any member can lend a hand, do so and do not look for anything in return.

The simple act of helping a partner will be repaid later when needed. Developing a spirit of cooperation and friendship will shape and unite the group into a powerful force that will catapult each member to much more success than would be possible alone.

Forming a Power Group should be one of the first things you do when setting up your business, or if you don’t know how, or don’t want to, start your own group, join one that already exists.

There are a large number of Power Groups in existence today, churches, religious groups, boy scouts, girl scouts, Knights of Columbus, Freemasons, Masonic Temple, Rotary Club and many more.

There may be many great leaders, but NO ONE has done it alone. So seek help by joining a group or forming your own. Follow our Facebook link to participate in a Power Group.
