Background

Kaleem Ullah is a famous Pakistani football player who was born on September 20, 1992 in Chaman. He graduated from Chaman Government High School. Kaleem Ullah comes from a sporting family background, as he is the cousin of top scorer and former Pakistan national team captain Muhammad Essa Khan. Kaleem Ullah Khan is the first Pakistani soccer player who signed with an international soccer management agency known as Korastars Sports Agency. He signed to play with this agency in 2015.

He plays for K-Electric on loan from the Pakistan national team and Tulsa Roughnecks. He plays as a midfielder or striker and has also played a variety of attacking roles, whether as an attacking midfielder, centre-forward, second striker or on either flank. He has a lot of potential and passion for football in him and he has made a name for himself in a very short time. He has always been praised for his stamina, consistency, hard work and correct positioning to score and create many goals.

In 2011, Khan set the Pakistan Premier League record of scoring 77 points. He also won the Pakistan Premier League with Khan Research Laboratories. In the same year, Kaleem Ullah played with KRL and also won the Challenge cup with the golden 1-0 win against rivals K-Electric. In the 2013 season he got his fourth league title and it was also the last league title. At the AFC President’s Cup held in 2013, Kaleem Ullah Khan was declared the best player in the Pakistan Premier League due to his passionate performances not only domestically but also internationally. He was also awarded the title of player of the year by the Pakistan Football Federation in the same year.

Khan began his international career in 2010 when he played in the under-23 team for the 2010 Asian games. He represented Pakistan at various youth levels and also had success making his debut in a 6–0 group stage loss against Thailand. He also scored one goal and played seven games for the team. On 4 March 2011, before the qualifiers, Kaleem Ullah Khan earned his first cap for Pakistan in a 0–0 drawn match against Palestine. In this match, at the Punjab Stadium, he made his debut as a substitute.
