Okay, I’ll tell you a little bit about power chords. The name is a combination of power, because they sound quite powerful. They are not actually chords. Chords have 3 notes or more, but there are only 2 different notes.

The reason this type of method is so popular is that they are easy to use and sound great. Power chords are easy to play almost anywhere on the guitar neck and are very useful in the really fast part of the song.

POWER CHORD PATTERN:

This technique is very easy to play and you do not need to change the position of your fingers.

Put your fingers in play position and start playing. To change the chord, simply move up or down on the fretboard.

BAR CHORDS

Barre chords are a type of guitar chord, where one or more fingers are used to press various strings along the fretboard of the guitar. The name of these chords comes from a French word barre, which in English is bar. Bar, because the shape of the first finger is like bar over the entire fret. The main purpose of barre chords is to move any of the open string chords an arbitrary number of semitones down the neck of the guitar; similar to wearing a bonnet.

Basically, barre chords are divided into two types: E-shape and A-shape. The name comes from the name of open chords. E-shaped because, besides the index finger, all other fingers are open E-shaped, and the same for A-shaped barre chords. To change chords, simply move up or down on the fretboard like does with the power chord.
