Let’s start with a definition of general good health. The WHO (World Health Organization) definition of health, although from 1948: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of infirmity or disease.” Assuming that is true, what is the definition of physical health? Does good health naturally mean that “all natural” is good, especially when it comes to food?

What is the definition of physical health?

There is one?

Based on the WHO definition of health as it applies to physical health, is it safe to say that simply because everything works as it should in the absence of disease or infirmity (weakness or infirmity), we do not necessarily have good physical health? ?

What do you think?

Personally, I think there’s more to being healthy at the moment. On the other hand, I also believe that because we are only guaranteed the present, if you are healthy, don’t take it for granted. Enjoy it while you can.

I also believe that the state of our physical health largely depends on our personal health plan. In other words, it depends on how well we take care of ourselves on a regular basis. That includes:

  • eating clothes
  • Exercise habits or lack thereof.
  • sleepwear
  • spiritual clothing
  • general life clothing

Without sounding like I’m an expert, expert, or fan of any of the above, I personally am the definition of physical health, the definition of spiritual health, or anything resembling the definition of good health, simply put, What I am saying is that all the key points have to do with our physical health.

What do you think?

it’s about good health

One dictionary provides this definition of health:

“The general condition of the body or mind with reference to soundness and vigour: good health; poor health.”

The ancient Roman poet Virgil said: “The greatest wealth is health.”

I couldn’t agree more, but I’m a bit concerned about the amount of overemphasis being placed on physical health, as if it’s mutually exclusive from the other aspects of health.

I believe that health is about:

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • emotional
  • Spiritual
  • Financial

The “solidity and vigour” with which we pursue and maintain these factors has a direct and indirect effect on each and every factor.

Also, I find it troubling that the word wealth becomes too associated with money and financial wealth.

Not to say that I don’t see the importance of physical health and financial wealth. Both are key components of general health, but they are not independent concepts.

What are your thoughts?

Everything natural

The “all natural” phenomenon, especially as it relates to food, is one of the most important marketing strategies in history. If it’s not a scam, it’s a joke.

It does not mean anything!

There is a BIG difference between organic and natural. Do not confuse the two and of course do not fall for the propaganda that leads you to believe that they are the same. They are not.

Organic, at least when it comes to food, is highly regulated. It actually means something. However, keep in mind that just because it’s organic doesn’t necessarily mean it’s healthy.

All natural can mean almost anything. As for the food we consume, it is not regulated. It is a very misleading label.

Do not be fooled.

I’m not saying you don’t enjoy it. I’m not saying that everything natural is bad. I am simply saying that it is the most superfluous term that has ever existed. There is no depth to it.

my formula

For me it all comes down to a few simple concepts and principles starting with:

  • Honesty
  • I respect
  • best effort

These are essential. They cost nothing and must be applied at all times.

Here are the 5 F’s:

  • Food: Not just what we eat, but includes everything we consume physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. If we are what we eat, this says it all.
  • Fitness: includes the 5 points mentioned above
  • Finance – Affected by the previous two and affects the previous and next two
  • Compliance: it is about completion and includes all the points mentioned
  • Fun: The importance of how it affects health and how it is affected by it is often overlooked.

I have labeled the 5 F’s as the components of a bulletproof life.

In short, all of the above is important, but the right balance is key. I think too many of us are just out of balance. Also, there is no one-size-fits-all balancing act.

Last but not least, from the late and great Redd Foxx:

“Health nuts are going to feel stupid one day, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.”
